Alfa Romeo GTV6 – ‘Restomod’ Style

One of my favourite projects is building a ‘restomod’ style GTV6. The owner of this car is a serial Alfa collector and regular client here. He was very lucky to find a 1 owner example with just 30k miles on as the base car. Nonetheless, being 30 odd years old by the time we got our hands on her there was still some rust to be sorted out.

The brief for this one was quite simple: to create the ultimate spec fast road GTV6 in, built to the highest possible standard. Once the car arrived with us we stripped all the running gear and wiring from the body in preparation for the body work.

Due to the low mileage and having escaped the ravages of daily use the body had never been undersealed, still being finished in the original stone chip paint and waft of colour it left the factory in. This made it an ideal candidate for a fully painted underside to match the new silver paint on top.
